Cardinal Valley is a restoration landscape of nearly 1,000 acres of former mining and reclaimed land owned and managed by the City of Webb City. The properties are somewhat contiguous in character but geographically separated into two major tracts.
While not physically connected, both areas are part of the same long-term habitat restoration effort focused on prairie, wetlands, and bottomland ecosystems.
Across these sites, the City is restoring native habitat, improving water quality, and expanding wildlife corridors within each tract. The map identifies current public recreational areas.
Together, these two tracts represent a large-scale ecological restoration effort transforming former mining lands into productive natural habitat and community green space.
